Argentum Joins Forces with Social Impact Partners in Support of Global Brain Health Initiatives for Healthy Living and Healthier Aging

[current_event_date]

Alexandria, Va. – June is internationally recognized as Alzheimer’s and Brain Health Awareness month. As a leading trade association representing senior living partners and advocates, Argentum has partnered with Social Impact Partners, a nonprofit organization focused on improving brain health and prioritizing healthy living on a global scale.

The partnership underscores the Argentum mission to promote choice, dignity, independence, and quality of life and care for seniors and comes at a critical time as the population of seniors in the United States is increasingly growing. By 2040, 22 percent—or 80.8 million Americans—are projected to be 65 and older. As the nation gears up for an impending “silver tsunami,” part of that includes ensuring that senior housing communities are prepared to care for a growing number of seniors along with unprecedented increases each year of dementia diagnoses.

“Argentum is proud to partner with Social Impact Partners as we work toward advancing quality of life and care for seniors,” said James Balda, President and CEO of Argentum. “With aging diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, it is important that we go deeper to develop innovative solutions to help prevent and be proactive, so that seniors can age with grace and dignity.”

“This is an exciting and purposeful partnership on many levels,” commented Sarah Hoit, Founder & Chairman of Social Impact Partners. “Our shared passion to improve the quality of life for older adults, alongside Argentum, is at the heart of this partnership, though cognitive decline plays a significant role in all of lives. Every day matters, and with a stronger emphasis on improving brain health, we can have healthier seniors, caregivers, families, employees and communities.”

The partnership comes at a critical time for the senior living industry, as the aftermath of the pandemic shed light on the need for continued innovation and increased focus on brain health.  With focused ambitions, Argentum and Social Impact Partners are poised to make a significant impact in creating a better future for the aging population – one that is defined by healthy minds and vibrant communities.

Argentum and Social Impact Partners are asking change-makers to participate in the “Donate 8,” fundraising campaign. Donate any amount with the number, 8, in your total to reflect the never-ending fight to reclaim healthy aging. The infinity symbol, as represented in Social Impact Partner’s logo, carries tremendous meanings in interconnectedness and boundless opportunities for growth. With the help of generous contributions, Argentum and Social Impact Partners can continuously fund innovation, support medical professionals and caregivers, and provide crucial resources and education to those in need.
