An Akron Memory Care community wants to help family members better navigate the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s and dementia. Greenfield Estates, an Anthem Memory Care community will host the first of three education programs from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Aug. 22 at the community located at 3522 Commercial Drive, Akron.
The Alzheimer’s Association, Greater East Ohio Area Chapter, will present the discussions.

- Identify strategies to help you connect and communicate.
Understanding and Responding to Dementia Related Behaviors – Oct. 24, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
- Learn how to decode behavioral messages.
- Identify common triggers.
- Strategies to help manage common behavioral challenges
