The Advisory Council on Alzheimer’s Research, Care, and Services will meet later this month, through an event that is open to the public, to discuss national priorities for Alzheimer’s disease, and develop a timeline for the 2014 recommendations.
The council will also hear presentations on strategies to harness “big data” to address Alzheimer’s research. The council most recently met in July to discuss the 2013 update to the National Plan to Address Alzheimer’s Disease, and the 2013 recommendations.
The quarterly meeting of the advisory council will occur on Monday, October 28, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and will be streamed live online.
The Advisory Council on Alzheimer’s Research, Care, and Services will be accepting comments relating to the implementation of the plan. If you plan to attend the meeting or would like to submit comments, please email [email protected] by Friday, October 18th. Those who wish to attend the meeting should write “October 28 meeting attendance” in the subject line of the email.
