SALISBURY, Md.— APPI Energy COO Jennifer Underwood has joined the national board of The Energy Professionals Association (TEPA).
TEPA is a nonprofit organization, and board members volunteer their time and expertise. They support the organization’s efforts to provide professional development, advocacy, and networking opportunities for its national membership base. Underwood joins the ranks of other industry veterans, all charged with working collectively to advance TEPA’s advocacy and education efforts.
“We have an incredible leadership team in place at TEPA for the upcoming year,” said Shannon McGriff, TEPA executive director. “I’m also excited to announce the expansion of the National Board to include three new at-large positions. These new roles were created to better help us support our growing membership, and these three industry veterans will be incredible resources to TEPA.”
APPI has been participating members of TEPA since its inception, and was selected as ABC (aggregator, broker, and consultant) of the Year in 2017.
“Our relationship with TEPA leadership and our fellow members has played a crucial role in the growth of not only APPI Energy, but our industry as a whole,” said Underwood. “Together we work to improve the competitive marketplace, while ensuring that the integrity of the retail energy markets are upheld across North America. I look forward to playing a larger role in their efforts to educate, advocate and propel the industry forward in 2022.”
