Argentum Achieves Great Place to Work Certification for the Third Time

[current_event_date]

(Alexandria, Va.) – Argentum, the national association dedicated to supporting providers of professionally managed, resident-centered senior living communities, has been certified as a great workplace for the third time by the independent analysts at Great Place to Work®.

The certification process involved an anonymous survey of Argentum employees and evaluated the association on more than 60 elements of teammembers’ experience on the job. These included employee pride in the organization’s community impact, belief that their work makes a difference, and feeling their work has special meaning. Rankings are based on employees’ experiences, no matter who they are or what they do.

“Argentum has a culture all its own, where employees are mission-driven and achieve top-quality results for senior living,” said James Balda, President & CEO, Argentum. “This recognition demonstrates the type of collaboration, diverse thinking and camaraderie our employees value and drives us to do more for the industry.”

Eighty-six percent of employees at Argentum say it is a great place to work compared to 57% of employees at a typical U.S.-based company. Association employees also had strong agreement with statements such as “When I look at what we accomplish, I feel a sense of pride,” “We have special and unique benefits here” and “People are encouraged to balance their work life and their personal life.”

“We applaud Argentum for seeking certification and publicly sharing its employees’ feedback,” said Dr. Jacquelyn Kung, of Great Place to Work’s senior care partner Activated Insights. “These ratings measure its capacity to earn its own employees’ trust and create a great workplace for high performance.”

Throughout 2022, Argentum made efforts for continual reinforcement of an open and inclusive workplace culture and expanded its commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The company also responded to employee needs and workplace trends by continuing to expand benefits programs, investing in technology, and offering healthy snacks and beverages. These are in addition to Argentum’s existing comprehensive benefits package, which includes flexible working schedules, matching 401K contributions, educational assistance, and a generous leave policy, to name a few.
