Argentum Advocates Member/Subscriber Terms and Conditions

Membership to the Argentum Advocates program is provided subject to the following terms and conditions which may be updated from time to time (“Terms and Conditions”). The Terms and Conditions are a legally enforceable agreement with respect to your membership in Argentum Advocates, subject to Argentum’s right to make modifications at any time as described below.

By being a member of Argentum Advocates, you accept and agree to be bound by each of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to each of these Terms and Conditions, you should not enroll as a member of Argentum Advocates.

1. Purpose
Argentum Advocates serves as a membership program to inform and engage relevant stakeholders in the senior living industry.

2. Right to Change or Modify Terms
Argentum reserves the right, at its sole discretion, at any time, to change the Terms and Conditions. Members should review this agreement periodically for any changes to the Terms and Conditions which shall be effective upon publishing to the Argentum.org website. By enrolling as a member of Argentum Advocates after changes to the Terms and Conditions have been posted, you agree to accept the changes and abide by them whether or not you have reviewed them.

3. Membership Qualifications.
Membership is available to individuals who are employed in or who serve as consultants or vendors to the senior living industry. Argentum reserves the right to suspend or terminate your membership in the event that you provide any information that is inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or the Argentum has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is inaccurate, not current or incomplete.

4. Use of Member Content
Argentum Advocates provides information, data, resources, toolkits, and publications relevant to stakeholders in the senior living industry. Argentum Advocates content is protected under the copyright laws of the United States and of other countries. Unless indicated otherwise, you must contact us for permission for any reproduction, modification, or distribution of such content. Some content may have been submitted by third parties, and may be subject to more specific restrictions, as indicated on such content.

5. Public Forums
All Forums are public and not private communications. Webinars, briefings, chats, postings, conferences, e-mails and other communications by other users are not endorsed by Argentum or Argentum Advocates and such communications shall not be considered reviewed, screened, or approved by the Argentum or Argentum Advocates.

6. Copyright Notice
If you believe in good faith that your copyrighted work has been reproduced by Argentum Advocates without authorization in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please advise us at once.

7. Trademarks and Logos
“Argentum”, “Argentum Advocates”, “Argentum logo” and “Argentum Political Action Committee” are all trade or service marks of Argentum. Argentum trade or service marks may not be used or associated with any product, service, event or link without the prior written consent of an authorized representative of Argentum. The terms and conditions of approved use of any of the Argentum trade or service mark are governed by the Argentum Logo Standards described in the “About Argentum” section at Argentum.org.

8. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
ARGENTUM ADVOCATES CONTENT IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” ARGENTUM DOES NOT WARRANT THE AVAILABILITY OF ARGENTUM ADVOCATES NOR THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR CURRENCY OF ARGENTUM ADVOCATES CONTENT OR ANY MATERIAL, DATA, INFORMATION, PUBLICATIONS, OR DOCUMENTS PROVIDED TO MEMBERS, AND DOES NOT WARRANT THAT ARGENTUM ADVOCATES OPERATES ERROR-FREE, NOR THAT DEFECTS, ERRORS OR OMISSIONS WILL BE CORRECTED. ARGENTUM EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED, EXPRESS OR STATUTORY WARRANTIES AS TO NON-INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS, OR THIRD PARTY RIGHTS, TITLE, LATENT DEFECTS, UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND FREEDOM FROM COMPUTER VIRUSES.

IN NO EVENT WILL ARGENTUM, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES OR VOLUNTEERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DIRECT OR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, MORAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, OPPORTUNITIES OR INFORMATION OR FOR EXPENSES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR MEMBERSHIP IN ARGENTUM ADVOCATES, EVEN IF AREGENTUM IS ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, LOSSES OR EXPENSES.

10. No Endorsements
Argentum Advocates does NOT in any manner endorse, certify, refer or recommend commercial products, services or processes. Argentum Advocates may provide links to third party websites. The linked sites are not under the control of the Argentum or Argentum Advocates, and Argentum is not responsible for the contents of any linked site or any link contained in a linked site. The appearance on Argentum Advocates materials of the name or logo of another entity, or the appearance of a link to another entity’s site, does NOT indicate endorsement, recommendation or referral by Argentum of the other entity or its products or services, and Argentum expressly disclaims any such endorsement, recommendation or referral.

11. Privacy
Please see Argentum’s Privacy Policy which governs the use of information provided to Argentum Advocates members.

12. Governing Law and Choice of Jurisdiction
This agreement and the Terms and Conditions will be interpreted and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
