(Alexandria, Va.)—Argentum has published its annual list of largest providers in senior living. The list is compiled from voluntary and company-provided data via survey, and rankings are determined based on total company units. This year’s list has expanded to 125 providers from 115 providers in 2017 with the additions of providers such as Charter Senior Living, Arrow Senior Living, and Vitality Senior Living. In total, more than 586,000 units are represented among the largest 125 providers.
“We are happy to recognize the largest providers serving seniors across the country,” said James Balda, Argentum president & CEO. “We are also pleased that many of the top 125 providers are members of Argentum, signifying their dedication to promoting quality care and service to older adults.”
The largest providers in assisted living, independent living, memory care, and Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) are highlighted in this year’s list, as well as a list of the largest 10 not-for-profit providers, a new addition this year. Among just the largest 115 providers, data shows 4.5 percent growth in the overall number of units from 2017 to 2018.
