Argentum Introduces Future-Facing Communications Initiatives

[current_event_date]

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – This year, Argentum has introduced a variety of new communications initiatives aimed at providing an improved user experience for members and senior living advocates. The launch of a redesigned website, a new research-centered publication, and a daily newsletter aims to provide the most relevant and timely news and resources for those working across senior living.

“The launch of these communications resources marks a milestone for Argentum and emphasizes the substantial commitment we have made to making available effective, educational, and convenient resources for the busy senior living professional,” said James Balda, Argentum president and chief executive officer.

Earlier this year, Argentum introduced a new and redesigned website at argentum.org featuring a more modern and efficient structure and a renewed appearance more consistent with the association’s brand. The recently launched site features news, research, events, and public policy items pertinent to senior living and the association’s five key imperatives—workforce development, quality improvement, operational excellence, consumer choice, and memory care. New member features include detailed advocacy pages designed to track proposed federal and state legislation affecting the senior living industry, as well as a comprehensive resource bank for trending legislative topics. The new website aims to be the most comprehensive resource for senior living professionals interested in innovation, advocacy, and professional development across the industry.

Argentum’s new Argentum Quarterly publication is research-focused, identifying new senior living industry trends and data. The inaugural issue of Argentum Quarterly includes research on topics born from the Argentum memory care committee. As part of the Senior Living Innovation Series: Memory Care, the publication’s “Idea to Implementation” report builds upon Argentum committee research by focusing on six innovations chosen based on the programs’ effectiveness, ability to be widely implemented, and how well each program addressed the top needs expressed among those in senior living. Discussion around this research will be featured at Argentum’s Memory Care Symposium on June 20 in Washington, D.C. The next Argentum Quarterly report this year will tackle research related to workforce development and generational perceptions of working in the industry.

Argentum also recently traded the association’s weekly newsletter for a daily newsletter. Still landing in inboxes as Argentum Update, the daily newsletter provides nearly 20,000 subscribers with news related to topics such as the growing senior population, employee and professional development, relevant public policy initiatives, and research on the science of aging.
