Argentum Introduces the 2018 Senior Living by Design Award Recipients

[current_event_date]

(Alexandria, Va.)—Today, Argentum is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2018 Senior Living by Design awards. The annual awards program honors architects, design firms, and senior living providers that achieve innovative architecture in senior living communities. The recipients of the 2018 awards include:

  • Brandywine Living at Alexandria (Brandywine Living)
  • Creekside Senior Living (Stellar Senior Living)
  • Crestavilla (Steadfast Companies/Atria Senior Living)
  • Evergreen Village at Bloomington (Gardant Management Systems)
  • Meadow Active Lifestyle Community (Masonic Communities Kentucky)

The five winning communities showcase the latest innovations in senior living design and architecture, including more flexible and efficient spaces, effective community integration in urban settings, and special considerations for topographical challenges and cultural context. In total this year, Argentum received 19 nominations from across the country, and the winners were selected by an independent panel of five judges.

“Senior living providers, designers, and architects alike recognize the critical importance of functional design to community operations,” said James Balda, Argentum president & CEO. “This year, the award winners effectively married sophistication with practical and purposeful design, enhancing quality care and service.”

The 2018 Senior Living by Design award winners are featured in the November/December issue of Senior Living Executive magazine. In April, attendees of the 2019 Argentum Senior Living Executive Conference, April 15-17, in San Antonio, Texas can expect to see a rich visual display featuring the winning communities.
