Argentum Named Great Place to Work for Second Consecutive Year

[current_event_date]

(Alexandria, Va.)—Argentum, a national association dedicated to supporting providers of professionally managed, resident-centered senior living communities, has been certified as a great workplace by the independent analysts at Great Place to Work®.

This is the second consecutive year Argentum has achieved this recognition, which is based on extensive ratings provided by its employees in anonymous surveys. It also received a higher overall score and higher scores in many individual areas, compared to 2019.

“We’re thrilled that Argentum has once again been acknowledged for its outstanding workplace culture,” said James Balda, President & CEO, Argentum. “This recognition shows our employees’ depth and breadth of understanding and dedication regarding our collective mission.”

Association employees had strong agreement with statements such as “When I look at what we accomplish, I feel a sense of pride” and “Management’s actions match its words.” The 2020 data showed an increase in positive responses in all five dimensions of trust, including fairness and camaraderie.

“We applaud Argentum for seeking certification and releasing its employees’ feedback,” said Dr. Jacquelyn Kung, of Great Place to Work’s senior care affiliate Activated Insights. “These ratings measure its capacity to earn its own employees’ trust and create a great workplace for high performance.”

Throughout 2019, Argentum made efforts for continual reinforcement of an open and inclusive workplace culture and established an internal culture committee. The company also responded to employee needs and workplace trends by expanding benefits programs, increasing telecommuting options, investing in IT infrastructure, and offering healthy snacks and beverages. These are in addition to Argentum’s existing comprehensive benefits package, which includes flexible working schedules, matching 401K contributions, educational assistance, and a generous leave policy, to name a few.
