Argentum Receives Two Tabbie Awards for Senior Living Executive Magazine

[current_event_date]

(Alexandria, Va.) – Argentum’s Senior Living Executive magazine has received two 2021 Tabbie Awards from Trade, Association, and Business Publications International (TABPI). Named No. 12 in the 25 Best Single Issues category was the Senior Living Executive July/August Workforce issue, which focused on retaining caregivers and others in the workforce, ensuring their well-being, and recognizing their achievements. The magazine also received an honorable mention in the Departments category for its new Equity & Inclusion column, which offers expert guidance on cultivating and preserving workplace cultures of belonging, collaboration, and mutual respect.

“This recognition highlights two important themes Argentum strives to convey: That the senior living workforce is truly supported by heroes, and that understanding the issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion are critical to the future of the industry,” said James Balda, Argentum president and CEO. “The contributions of ideas and examples from executive directors, owners and operators, and solutions experts are what make the magazine an essential resource for senior living professionals.”

Senior Living Executive magazine is published bimonthly and delivers to more than 14,500 professionals the latest information, resources, and tools for senior living professionals and community leaders, looking at trends in workforce development, quality improvement, operational excellence, consumer choice, and memory care.

The 18th-year Tabbie Awards editorial and design competition was open to English-language b2b publications worldwide, published at least three times per year, as well as online-only brands. The 2021 Tabbie Awards featured more submissions than any year since 2017, with nominations from across the globe, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.

Complete results, along with selected comments from the judges and samples of the winning entries, are available at tabpi.org/awards/2021-tabbie-awards.

The first phase of the organization’s objective has been accomplished by the creation of a comprehensive editorial and design competition. The Tabbies recognizes excellence in trade, association, and business publications. Additionally, it exposes editors to similar b2b magazines and their local practices across the globe. Associations in different countries and regions are invited to participate as official partners. Different programs have been developed over the years, including the popular annual Magazine Critique Service and the Marketing Tabbies, aimed at the marketing professionals who work for b2b publications. TABPI also actively supports keeping younger editors excited about the b2b publishing world, especially through our popular Young Leaders Scholarship program.
