Three Arizona MBK Senior Living communities, including Savanna House and Sky Ridge in Gilbert and Sky Vista in Mesa, are hosting a prom on January 27th from 2-4 p.m. at The American Leadership Academy Gilbert North in Gilbert.
This year’s senior living prom theme is “Under the Sea.” It will be a magical afternoon filled with dancing, laughter, and memories. What makes this event even more special is the involvement of the school’s National Honor Society students. They are organizing a dress drive and helping with the decorations, ensuring everything looks stunning. To add to the ambiance, we have Chuck Morriss and Music Memories, a local band, who will be playing 50s and 60s music throughout the event. But that’s not all! The talented chefs from each community will be contributing delicious drinks and hors d’oeuvres.
We are seeking formal wear donations from the public, including mother-of-the-bride and vintage-style dresses for women and ties/dress shirts for men. Donations can be dropped off at any of our three senior living locations. We are also in need of assistance from local bus transportation services that can help us transport our seniors to and from their prom.
