Atlas’ new collaboration with Amazon’s Alexa Smart Properties and Speak2 involves integrating Alexa technology into all 167 apartments at The Goldton at Venice, making everyday tasks easier for residents. 
With the new Alexa-enabled devices, residents can easily call the front desk, check the day’s menu, stay informed about community announcements, schedule medication reminders, arrange transportation, request housekeeping, or even connect face-to-face with loved ones via video calls—Alexa makes it possible with just a simple voice command.
Through voice commands, residents can also control various aspects of their home, from adjusting lights to setting reminders for medication and appointments.
“We believe our collaboration with Speak2 and Alexa Smart Properties, which brings this technology directly to our residents, is a game changer,” shares Greg Crutcher, Chief Marketing Officer for Atlas Senior Living. “During the pilot program, we saw engagement grow tremendously as residents felt more connected to the community and to each other. Our residents and their families have more confidence that there is an added level of safety and security. Whatever they need is just a voice call away.”
