April’s journey in health care began over 20 years ago in Rochester, NY. She has ventured down various medical paths throughout her nursing career, gaining extensive experience in community health, psychiatric nursing, home care, long-term care, staff education, and dementia care. Her vast and diverse background makes her a valuable addition to the Charter Senior Living team.

Memory Care holds a special place in April’s heart, driven by personal experiences caring for her own family members. Her empathetic approach and firsthand knowledge of the challenges faced by those living with dementia make her a standout choice for the position of Memory Care Director. “I cared for my mother and uncle, who were both diagnosed with Alzheimer’s years ago,” April shares. “I understand firsthand what families go through and how to help residents with dementia.”
