Commonwealth Senior Living Announces Chief Sales & Marketing Officer and VP of Sales

Ruppe Craddock and Theus Bolster Commonwealth’s Capabilities

Charlottesville, VA – February 29, 2024 – Commonwealth Senior Living announces that Kristy Ruppe Craddock has been named Chief Sales & Marketing Officer and April Theus has been named Vice President of Sales. These promotions bolster Commonwealth’s sales and marketing capabilities as it continues to grow its portfolio and implement its updated strategic vision to provide community teams with the best possible support.

These new promotions help us prepare for anticipated future growth of the portfolio and implement our updated strategic vision to provide our community teams with the best possible support.”

Kristy Ruppe Craddock joined Commonwealth Senior Living in April 2016 as Regional Vice President of Sales & Marketing. In December 2017, she was promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing where she supported all of Commonwealth’s communities. During her tenure, she has increased sales performance and revenue for the organization, developed and implemented CSL branded sales training, led the effort to enhance sales through greater search engine optimization and launched strong sales coaching for community teams. Kristy also consistently leads the effort to enhance branding and messaging to drive awareness in the marketplace. Kristy has spent over 20 years in the senior living industry and received her Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a focus in Gerontology and Hospitality.

April Theus also joined Commonwealth Senior Living in 2016, as a Sales Director. Prior to joining the company, April held sales leadership positions at two senior living organizations spanning seven years. During her time as Sales Director, she quickly distinguished herself and was recognized as one of the company’s Sales Peer Mentors. In 2019, April was promoted to Sales Specialist where she supported all of Commonwealth’s communities. In her new role, April will be advancing Commonwealth’s mission to serve more residents across the company’s communities. April earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Norfolk State University.
