Commonwealth Senior Living at North Byron Offers Assisted Living and Memory Care Units

Charlottesville, VA – March 18, 2024 – Commonwealth Senior Living announces the acquisition of a new senior living community near Grand Rapids, Michigan. The community will be rebranded as Commonwealth Senior Living at North Byron and over the coming weeks, Commonwealth will introduce its 22-signature programs to residents. This marks the third community for Commonwealth Senior Living in the Grand Rapids area joining Commonwealth Senior Living at Grand Rapids and Commonwealth Senior Living at East Paris.

Commonwealth Senior Living at North Byron is located at 5812 Village Dr SW in Wyoming, Michigan. The community currently features 102 assisted living and memory care units. Commonwealth Senior Living is planning a renovation of the community, primarily focused on enhancing the secure memory care neighborhood.

New offerings to residents will include Commonwealth Senior Living’s Sweet Memories™ Neighborhood which features award-winning programs specifically designed to elevate and enhance the experience of our residents with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, Our Promise to Veterans, a unique offering of benefits to those who served in the U.S. Armed Forces and their spouses, Commonwealth’s interactive communication tool, TSO Life, MyndVR, a virtual reality experience designed to increase attention, improved motor skills and orientation, Farm to Table Dining which sources produce and fruits from local farms, and Travel the World, an in-depth enrichment program focused on learning about countries and cultures across the globe.
