CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.—Commonwealth Senior Living announces that Michelle Hamilton has joined the company as senior vice president of operations. Hamilton previously served as senior vice president of asset management healthcare for Colony Capital, Inc. (NYSE: CLNY)-sponsored NorthStar HealthCare Income.

Hamilton received her bachelor’s in business and her MBA from Frostburg State University. She began her career at Country Meadows Retirement Communities as an executive director and assumed additional roles and responsibilities throughout her tenure, which led her to the senior vice president of operations and chief of senior living operations of the company, serving in that capacity until 2018. Since that time, Hamilton worked for The Arbor Company and Colony Capital, Inc.
She has been an active member of Argentum and served as a committee roundtable chair for several years. She served on the board of directors for Pennsylvania Health Care Association and was chair of the Assisted Living/Personal Care board for two years.
