HOUSTON—David Chandler was recently named Executive Director at The Village of Meyerland, in Houston, a Retirement Center Management community. He previously served as assistant executive director at RCM’s The Village of River Oaks in Houston and as executive director at the company’s Wood Glenn Court, in Spring, Texas.
Chandler has over 15 years of experience in the health care and hospitality industry. He is a graduate of Eastern University in Philadelphia, where he earned his MBA, and Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla., where he earned his bachelor of science in nursing.
While Chandler has served in various leadership roles, he also has an extensive background in skilled nursing facilities where he served as the director of clinical services. He won the prestigious Hospital and Health System Association of Pennsylvania Patient Safety Achievement Award while working for the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Philadelphia and was recently recognized as the OnShift Scheduler of the Year for 2018.
