Description

Many LGBTQ people and their loved ones have big questions about senior living: Will I be safe in this community? Will I be listened to? Will what’s important to me be understood? Communities and caregivers want to be able to strongly answer “yes” to all of this, as they want to for every resident. But it takes some education and effort to ensure all residents have a high quality of life. Person-centered care approaches show success in reaching this goal.
