PHOENIX—Sagewood, an award-winning Life Care Services senior living community, has announced the hiring of Diane Schwartz, its new marketing director. In her new role, she looks to merge her past management experience and her passion for senior living to help strengthen Sagewood’s marketing department while cultivating lasting relationships with existing Sagewood residents.
Sagewood maintains a 95 percent reserved occupancy, including the new 101-residence phase expansion. The expansion now sits at 97 percent occupied since its opening in March 2021.
“We are thrilled to welcome Diane to our team,” said Stewart Ingram, executive director of Sagewood. “She brings not only industry experience but an outgoing, positive outlook that will positively impact everyone involved with our community.”
A graduate of Pepperdine University with a degree in business communications, she began her retail experience while working for her father’s department store at the early age of nine. But it wasn’t until 2016 that she decided to make a change into senior living, following a successful retail career.
She brings her vast senior-living marketing acumen to Sagewood following a successful and vital role in creating Mirabella at ASU, a unique retirement experience on Arizona State University’s campus. From its inception in 2016, Schwartz held the sales and marketing director title.
