LCB Senior Living (LCB) was celebrated on July 26th, 2022, at the Massachusetts Assisted Living Association’s (Mass-ALA) annual Excellence Awards Dinner. Amanda Polzin, Director of Sales and Market Strategy, and Beverly Curry, Resident Engagement Director at The Residence at Pearl Street, both took home accolades from the event for their outstanding work at LCB communities.
The Excellence Awards are presented each year to those who have demonstrated a strong desire to make positive differences in the lives of residents and that are viewed as role models in the assisted living industry by their peers. These awards are given to individuals of all levels and positions within the field.
Amanda Polzin, LCB’s Director of Sales and Market Strategy, received the Sales and Marketing Excellence Award for her dedication to creating a positive sales and marketing culture within her community for over 15 years. Through her efforts to lead with empathy and to create a personalized experience for every future resident, Ms. Polzin has provided exceptional commitment and support to residents and staff alike as a mentor and trusted confidant.
Beverly Curry, the Director of Resident Engagement at LCB’s The Residence at Pearl Street, was also honored with the Exemplifying Excellence in Activities Services award from Mass-ALA. Katrina Regan, Reflections and Engagement Specialist for LCB, nominated Ms. Curry for the award, saying it is because, “she goes above and beyond every day. [Beverly] truly puts the residents above all else and does whatever it takes to ensure they are happy and engaged… She loves her position, but it is not a ‘job’ for her. There is no one more deserving of this award.”
