NORTHBROOK, Ill.—The second class of Rising Stars in the McKnight’s Women of Distinction awards program has been announced. Honorees include women from across the United States who have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to senior housing and care at the community or corporate level.

“To say the least, this is a well-deserved honor,” said John O’Connor, vice president, associate publisher and editorial director of McKnight’s Senior Living and McKnight’s Long-Term Care News.

The Rising Stars were selected from several hundred nominations by a national, independent panel of judges. Awards in other categories will be released on Feb. 19.

All 2020 honorees will be celebrated at a May 7 dinner in Chicago, which will be followed the next day by a morning of continuing education sessions.

PointClickCare is the Diamond sponsor of this year’s event, and OnShift and PharMerica are Silver sponsors.
