In its third year, the McKnight’s Women of Distinction awards named seven Argentum members as honorees.

The 2021 awards program from publications McKnight’s Senior Living and McKnight’s Long-Term Care News received several hundred nominations, the publication reported.

Hall of Honor inductees are senior-level professionals in the C-suite or at a level equivalent to vice president or higher who have made a significant impact on their organization or the long-term care industry. Members honored include:

  • Leigh Ann Barney, president and CEO, Trilogy Health Services, Louisville, Ky.
  • Tana Gall, president, Merrill Gardens, Seattle
  • Mary Sue Patchett, executive vice president, strategic operations, Brookdale Senior Living, Brentwood, Tenn.
  • Patricia Will, founder and CEO, Belmont Village Senior Living, Houston

The Rising Stars awards category honors women who are either aged fewer than 40 years or have fewer than 15 years of experience in the senior living or skilled nursing fields. Argentum member named to this category is Amanda Elliott, corporate operations director at Life Care Services in Savannah, Ga.

The Veteran VIPs category, for those with 15 years’ or more of experience who make an impact on the field, is new in the awards this year. Members named include:

  • Christiana Bonsu, director of resident care, Somerford Place Columbia, Five Star Senior Living, Columbia, Md.
  • Juliet Holt Klinger, senior director, dementia care program, Brookdale Senior Living, Chicago

Honorees are chosen by a national, independent panel of judges. The virtual awards ceremony will be held May 19.
