GAINESVILLE, Va.—Retirement Unlimited, Inc. (RUI) has named Steve Wilkins as executive director for their The Wellington at Lake Manassas Community. RUI is a family-owned and operated senior living community management company with a 35+-year reputation in Virginia.
In his 25-year career, Wilkins has held successful and reputable leadership positions in both the senior living industry as well as the Albemarle County Police Department. With his experience in multi-level senior living including memory care, Steve blends energy and compassion with outstanding business, organizational, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills to create a positive atmosphere for residents, family, and friends as well as all team members.

Wilkins was the 2019 recipient of the Virginia Assisted Living Association (VALA) Diamond Award for Assisted Living Administrator of the Year.
