May 22, 2024 (Dallas, TX & Bloomfield, NJ) – Juniper Communities, a leading provider of senior living communities, is pleased to announce the appointment of Veronica Wainwright, LVN, as the Director of Wellness (DOW) at Juniper Village at Preston Hollow. Prior to joining Juniper, she worked at a memory care facility where she served as the DOW for two years. 
“When I first came into a Juniper Community it was very warm and inviting, and the staff very friendly and receptive. I have worked in senior living for most of my nursing career, having tried pediatrics and psychology, but always came back to senior living. It’s just my passion,” expressed Wainwright looking back on her experience over the last 15 years.

Serving as DOW, Wainwright’s role comes with many responsibilities and opportunities. She will supervise and lead a team of caring professionals, provide guidance, training and support, interview residents and families with empathy and understanding, ensure comprehensive and personalized care, and observe the health status of residents among other things.
And if work isn’t enough, she has a son and two beautiful granddaughters, who are her pride and joy. Most weekends you can find her spending time with, Lena who is 5 and Layla who is 3 months old.
