Villa Hermosa Active Retirement Community Earns CARF-Reaccreditation

[current_event_date]

(TUCSON, Ariz.NOV 7, 2023)—Villa Hermosa, an active retirement community owned and operated by Senior Resource Group (SRG), has been re-accredited by CARF International, an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services.

Similar to the five-star rating of the hospitality industry, this certification is the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to a retirement community. The reaccreditation – which is valid through 2026—is for both independent and assisted living.

“Only three percent of CARF surveys receive zero recommendations, and we’re thrilled to be included in this elite group,” said Executive Director Troy Jones. “It is a testament to our unwavering dedication to excellence in providing top-tier care and services to our community and a reflection of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality.”

To receive the three-year reaccreditation outcome, Villa Hermosa completed a voluntary peer review process and demonstrated to a team of surveyors that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurability and accountability.  The survey team’s report highlighted the many strengths of the community, including the visibility and accessibility of the leadership team, long-tenured staff and life enrichment activities and wellness programs that appeal to residents’ mind, body and soul.
