CHARLOTTE, N.C.—Waltonwood Cotswold has named Eric Davis as its new executive director. Davis brings with him nearly 10 years of experience to his new role.
He began his work with the Waltonwood organization in 2015 as a third-shift wellness nurse when Waltonwood Providence first opened its doors. During his time with the community, Davis was promoted to the position of assisted living wellness coordinator, which allowed him to work directly with residents and their family members.
Through this role, Davis realized that he wanted to continue growing within the Waltonwood organization, and in 2019 he was promoted to the associate executive director role for the southeast region. This role provided him with a deep understanding into the operations of the organization as he traveled and supported Waltonwood’s five communities in the Southeast.
“I’m thrilled for the opportunity to continue serving the Waltonwood Cotswold community as executive director,” said Davis. “Our aim in all that we do is to ensure high-quality care and services to our residents and make a difference in their lives. It’s this goal that I will keep in mind as I continue to develop relationships with the residents and exceed expectations during their time with us.

Davis is originally from upstate New York. He began his nursing career after graduating in 2013 with another senior living provider in a variety of roles, such as a caregiver, med tech, wellness nurse and resident care director. Following his time with this provider, he went on to serve as an enhanced assisted living coordinator at another senior living community in Penfield, N.Y., before joining the Waltonwood family. He enjoys being able to care for the residents while also diving into the operational side of the organization. According to Davis, his experiences have provided him the knowledge needed to serve in his role as executive director of Waltonwood Cotswold.
